We have decided to declare victory on the petition and close the petition to new signatures! We may not have our parallel greenway, We may not have funding, We may not have a project on the go yet! However getting to 1,000 signatures in a town and area the size of Kiltimagh was a huge achievement. This is a victory because public opinion has been measured and it is clear what it has to say. It means that people in Kiltimagh have learnt they can challenge the views of those who make decisions without consulting them.
