567 people have now signed up to the growing demand for a greenway free for all to use to run alongside the proposed Kiltimagh Velorail. Of the 567 signed in support 164 have put Kiltimagh down as their home town, this is nearly 20% of the entire adult population of the town. Over 300 of the petitioners live in Mayo. Local people saying Listen to us, this is what we want. A hard copy petition for non internet users is also doing the rounds with some of the supporters in Kiltimagh. A petition is only any good if the administrators and politicians will listen and act. That is what needs to happen locally in Kiltimagh. Mayo coco have refused to engage on this issue, the council received 284 submissions on the last county plan asking for a greenway. The TDs in Mayo refuse to engage on this subect. Why? What do they need to hear to finally understand this is what people want. Action. That is what they need and a voice. One loud united voice and Action that says: Listen to what we are saying and do as we ask. Please keep recruiting people to the petition. They have to listen. Brendan
