Hi everyone! It’s the first Tuesday of July, and I hope all is well...:). I’ve been trying to forget what happened and what we’ve been through this first half of the year. The fear of losing one's child is the most heart wrenching part. The family that I wholeheartedly carried on to my shoulders, to show to my children that I am enough for them. Yes I am a single mother, and I am proud to be one...:) My children are the bravest. Though my son’s performance in school was a little bit affected with all of this, they still managed to keep their hopes up and promised me they’ll do a lot better in school. I told them, my motto in life, “if you really want something in life, you’ll find a way to achieve it, if not, you’ll always find an excuse”. Last weekend, I did a lot of self assessment and I started planning my next steps. I want to improve myself more and show them that I’m not a quitter and I’m always better than yesterday. Yes I got really tired and exhausted, I felt lost and traumatised for a couple of months. Today, is a new chapter of our lives. I won’t give up until our Assistant Minister sees and realises that my family will be an asset to this country. Thank you very much again everyone! We couldn’t have done it without you guys! But we still need security for my children. The assurance that their MUM will always be here for the three of them everyday, for the rest of their lives. Please don’t stop emailing our Hon.
