Kazan Circus is a circus from the city of Kazan, in Russia. A clasic circus, that still uses animals, like birds and elephants. This week a scary case occurred at the circus: one of the elephants was exausted, and fell in the ground. The other elephant went to help him get up. The audience was startled and walked away. Meanwhile, to get the two elephants out of there and raise the other, two trainers went over there and started whipping the elephants. As if that were not enough, it is still possible to hear laughter from the audience. This is another shameful case of using animals for fun. In an interview, the director of Kazan Circus said it was "a fight between the elephants, probably out of jealousy for the trainer." The population went beyond the limits of mistreatment of animals when they began to use them as practically slaves. We need to fight to end maltreatment. This petition is not intended to close Kazan Circus, but to get them to take the animals out of the shows, and to fund some good and well-known recovery program for the animals that suffer there from this circus.
