However, I would like to point out that blowing the whistle on police corruption is hardly interfering with police matters. Both the Commissioner of Police and the Commissioner to the CCC want this matter closed. The Police Commissioner as it involves clear corruption and he wants to cover up, and the Commissioner to the CCC as the substandard investigation by the CCC has been heavily criticised by the Parliamentary inspector to the CCC and it is an embarrassment to him.
