The Auchterarder community demand the reinstatement of the Live Active Leisure summer camp service by Perth and Kinross Council as a matter of urgency.

We strongly believe that PKC should reverse its sudden decision to cancel the Live Active Leisure summer camps for our community. This service was financially viable and the attendance last summer demonstrated the need for this programme.

Removing this service does not save the Live Active Leisure or PKC any money and leaves at least 35 families suddenly, and with no warning, without any viable child care services in the local area. PKC's removal of the only local service that can flexibly and affordably accommodate 40-45 children will have a serious impact on the quality of life for these families.

At this time PKC have refused to provide a solution. Please help us to make PKC listen to our community and reinstate the summer child care programme that was promised to us.
