As a lover of theatre, I am moved by the power of storytelling as represented by Lin-Manuel Miranda's groundbreaking musical, Hamilton. Specifically, Miranda’s passion and creativity inspire me and fill my spirit with the belief that theater can transcend boundaries and inspire change, which is a sentiment I deeply desire to instill in my fellow students at S.S. Seward Institute.

It is in this spirit that I petition to bring the entire original cast of Hamilton to perform at our school. Such an event would not only enrich our appreciation of art and theatre but would also significantly inspire our student community, encouraging increased participation in the arts. According to a study by the National Endowment for the Arts, students who have access to the arts in school tend to have higher academic achievements, better workforce opportunities, and more civic engagement (National Endowment for the Arts, 2012).

The original Hamilton cast has been a catalyst for change, breaking box office records and transforming Broadway's cultural landscape. Brining this cast to perform for us would provide a rare and exceptional opportunity, promoting both educational and cultural growth.
