Persuade DC Comics to continue the John Constantine: Hellblazer series

0 have signed. Let’s get to 5,000!

John Constantine has always been one of the anchor characters in the Vertigo-line of comics for many many years. After the original Hellblazer comic book title ended with issue 300 in 2013, many reiterations of the character had been featured in other more mainstream comic titles, but it lacked the thought-provoking and sophisticated storytelling that the original comic book series had.

When DC Comics re-launched a new John Constantine: Hellblazer ongoing series in 2019 under the Sandman Universe/Black Label imprint, it brought back the original essence of the character from the 1988 series to the modern world, much to the approval and adoration of fans. The ongoing series was and still is the most well-received comic book in the market, with an average rating of 9.3.

Recently, DC Comics announced that they have decided to discontinue the new ongoing series after issue 12 due to the lack of sales, which is extremely disappointing, as John Constantine remains the clear favourite among all the comic books published under the Sandman Universe/Black Label imprint.

I would like DC Comics to re-think their decision and continue to publish the John Constantine: Hellblazer series.
