Children and young people in Llandudno Junction deserve a space where they can play, express themselves, and develop their skills in a safe environment. However, the existing Victoria Skatepark hasn't seen an update in over 25 years, and the current aging playgrounds offer limited opportunities for today's youth. It's high time we bring a modern, inclusive, and engaging facility to our community.

JuncYard C.I.C. has proposed a visionary plan to transform Victoria Skatepark into a concrete wheeled-sports venue complete with a bowl, ramps, and innovative street features. This isn't just about building a sports facility; it's about revitalizing our community, providing a haven for future generations to grow both physically and socially.

Communities with upgraded skateparks have seen a significant increase in youth engagement and a decrease in local juvenile crime rates. According to a study by Public Health Wales, access to recreational facilities is linked with improved physical and mental well-being among young people.

A new wheeled-sports park could attract both local and visiting enthusiasts, boosting the local economy and showcasing the vibrant spirit of Llandudno Junction. It's an investment in our future—one where our children have the resources and spaces they need to thrive.
