Relocate the trolls at the Lisle Morton Arboretum

Relocate the trolls at the Lisle Morton Arboretum
The Issue
Thomas Dambo is the artist of the (6) troll sculptures at the Lisle Morton Arboretum. The installation was made completely of recycled materials, by volunteers & the artist. The trolls names are Rocky Bardur, Sneaky Socks Alexa, Little Arturs, Furry Emma, Niels Bragger, and the infamous Joe the Guardian that overlooks a highway from the top of a hill. The artists mission is to inspire us to think about our interaction with the environment and for me it has done just that! I want to add that the Arboretum is a non-profit organization that offers dynamic art that is always evolving and the surrounding communities loves the Arboretum for that. We are so thankful for the Arboretums' success in providing us with interesting and unique art. This past year has been hard for all of us but being able to get outside and enjoy art has been one of the few joys we collectively can still enjoy. I am asking that the trolls be donated/ relocated. We have partners that are willing to work with the arb on a plan for the trolls next life. The exhibit is set to end on January 31, 2021. Let's perserve the trolls and give them a new home.
