”Matt started working for NDHSAA in 2010 and became the Executive Director in 2014. He brings teaching, school administration and officiating background to our organization. Matt is responsible for the finances of the association, the interpretation of the NDHSAA Constitution & By-Laws, eligibility issues, hardship investigations, protests against schools, administrates Hockey and works closely with the NDHSAA Board of Directors. Administrators or member schools may direct questions concerning eligibility and hardships to Matt.”

If any interested member of the public wants to call or email the President of the NDHSAA and ask him why he is unable to respond to any of the duties listed as his responsibility in his biography, his email is Matt.fetsch@ndhsaa.org   701-845-3953.   He is ultimately a public servant, he isn’t too important to be bothered.  Leaders treat everyone like they matter, not just pick up the phone to listen to St Mary’s complain about James wrestling.  My wife is a teacher and she would be fired if she did not respond to inquiries from parents.  In this case, multiple calls, messages, website form inquiries and emails.  Maybe a simple conversation could clear this whole thing up.   A third party relaying the NDHSAA position that  “discrimination is not a hardship,” is not a satisfactory answer.
