On Tuesday, at a Maryland House Judiciary Committee hearing, there were several testimonies for and against CAIR and Chaudry being removed from the Hate Crimes Commission. Chaudry testified as well (which can be viewed at 1:06-1:21). See news articles here, here, here, here, and here.

House Bill 763 removes CAIR from the Hate Crimes Commission and replaces it with requiring two Muslim representatives to join the Commission. House Bill 748 does not remove CAIR but allows for the Attorney General to adopt a code of conduct and remove members if they violate the code of conduct.
