·        We demand that Pepperidge Farm change the Chessmen cookies name to be inclusive of all genders. We think the name does not represent everyone who eats these cookies.

·        We are two sisters who like cookies and also play chess. We are young, but understand gender inequality and find it surprising that Pepperidge Farm cookies, a company that was founded by a woman, has a product called “Chessmen”. When we see this product, we feel that women and girls are excluded.

·        Please sign our petition to demand that Pepperidge Farm/ Campbell Soup Co. change the Chessmen cookies name to “Chess Cookies” (or another gender-neutral name like “Chess Figures” or “Chess Pieces”) to ensure all genders have equal representation.
