Petition update

Don't let the Premier Silence Us.

Council for Intellectual Disability

Oct 30, 2017 — Thank you for signing our petition. You have joined 3,165 other concerned people who have also signed the petition defending advocacy for people with intellectual disability!
That’s 3,165 emails to the Premier telling her that people with intellectual disability have a right to be heard.
Can you help us make it 5,000?

Please share our petition on Facebook, Twitter and email.
Can you also help us get postcards to the Premier signed?
Please email with your postal address and we will send you a bunch.
Can you phone the Premier and ask her to reinstate advocacy funding?
Her number is (02) 8574 5000.

One more important request:
Like CID, more than 50 disability advocacy organisations across NSW will also be shut down by the Premier next June.
Council for Intellectual Disability (CID) is working with many of these organisations as part of an alliance running the “Stand By Me” campaign.
Please also sign the “Stand By Me” petition here: and check out what else you can do at the Stand By Me website:

Thank you

Fiona and The Advocacy Team at CID.
