What is happening in Venezuela in these days, in the post-election period, is truly shocking, it horrifies us. We feel a rejection that arises from the depths of our hearts. We are in contact with our loved ones and friends every day. All those who have ventured out into the streets tell of Gestapo and Stasi style searches. Some were stopped on the street by members of the police and ordered to show the contents of their cell phones to search for messages related to the opposition or simple photos of the street demonstrations. If found in possession of any arbitrarily defined evidence, they are deported to be interrogated in prison, perhaps for something much more tragic. Every day, we hear and verify continuous violations of human rights. Tonight the skies of Caracas shone with unusual lights, they were drones of the regime to monitor passers-by on the street and, if necessary, intervene by sending agents to search and arrest. It is truly a dictatorship by now. People are afraid to go out into the streets to buy food and necessities. Videos are constantly arriving, secretly recorded with cell phones, of ordinary citizens beaten by armed groups of police on motorcycles and with violence seen only in the darkest movies. It is necessary to add an even more terrible story. Among the political prisoners of these days, there are many who have not made themselves known, not even because of their defense lawyer, who has not been able to meet them. Many of them seem to be locked up in the infamous torture center "El Helicoide" or in "La Tumba", buildings that were initially built for other civic purposes. Venezuelan and foreign journalists were arrested during their work in Venezuela. We are aware of 2 Chilean journalists kidnapped in Caracas.
Our analysts indicate that this increase in violence and continued destruction of human rights are all signs of the weakening of the dictatorship. It seems that Maduro is starting to be worried.
We are all watching what foreign countries are going to do. This is precisely the purpose of this petition campaign, to raise awareness among foreign public opinion and try to create the maximum criticism necessary to make the internet explode with protests against Maduro's dictatorship.
The context today is really different from that of a few years ago, during the time of Juan Gerardo Antonio Guaidó. Today, the international situation is turned upside down. The USA is in the midst of an incredible election campaign where the Democratic Party, leading the nation, has discovered its weakness and must demonstrate that it deserves a second term with Kamala Harris. The USA is already involved in many major foreign conflicts. Iran is openly angry and ready for a total war with Israel. However, no analyst is able to indicate with certainty the evolution of the situation in Venezuela. Too many variables exist, the clear interests of Maduro's allies Russia and China; the axis of the drug cartel that blocks the presidents of Mexico and Colombia; Lula seems to have only woken up yesterday; he doesn’t really have a clear context of the situation. Argentina, the awakened lions, is displaying muscles and then the strange silence, with no retaliation, by the historic large armed gangs of the most powerful drug traffickers on the planet, with weapons to compete with even the USA, these paramilitary gangs are still at present hidden by Maduro in Venezuela. In short, it is a crazy, unusual situation.
What we can say for sure is that something has changed.
Maduro is afraid, his former bright advisors seem to have vanished, he appears weak, shouting, uncertain, with rather inappropriate ideas, with violent reactions and with ridiculous impulsive actions that are not really well thought out and that ultimately backfire on him. His latest decisions are clearly not adequately thought out. In previous years, the regime actions of the regime were more efficient, more astute, more subtle.
So Maduro has begun to become an unexpected enemy of himself and this is new, refreshing, and it is sensational.
Then comes the ingredient that has been missing for a long time. There are iron women in Venezuela who awaken free spirits in all of us, those that have been dormant due to the rush of “modern” society. Impulses that make us all younger. Revolutionary spirits that are impossible to tame have already overwhelmed us. These days, we are all in love with these women from Venezuela. How can we not support such genuine feelings? We are not even interested in understanding the details of the ideology, whether it is right or left, from the inside, we know that those right words are certainly something better than Maduro.
Today, analysts all agree that the current situation is more favorable to a change than to the continuation of the dictatorship.
So, brothers of Venezuela, continue to have faith and continue to insist. Because tomorrow maybe, all together, united, maybe you will wake up in a new Venezuela, a free Venezuela.
The new Venezuela never seen in the last 30 years that all of you were waiting for.

Lo que está pasando en Venezuela en estos días, en el período postelectoral, es verdaderamente impactante, nos horroriza. Sentimos un rechazo que surge de lo más profundo de nuestros corazones. Estamos en contacto con nuestros seres queridos y amigos todos los días. Todos los que se han aventurado a salir a las calles cuentan registros al estilo Gestapo y Stasi. Algunos fueron detenidos en la calle por miembros de la policía y se les ordenó mostrar el contenido de sus teléfonos celulares para buscar mensajes relacionados con la oposición o simples fotos de las manifestaciones callejeras. Si se les encuentra en posesión de alguna prueba definida arbitrariamente, son detenidos para ser interrogados en prisión, tal vez por algo mucho más trágico. Todos los días, escuchamos y verificamos continuas violaciones de los derechos humanos. Esta noche, los cielos de Caracas brillaron con luces inusuales, eran drones del régimen para monitorear a los transeúntes en la calle y, si es necesario, intervenir enviando agentes para buscar y detener. Es realmente una dictadura a estas alturas. La gente tiene miedo de salir a las calles a comprar alimentos y artículos de primera necesidad. Constantemente llegan videos, grabados a escondidas con celulares, de ciudadanos comunes golpeados por grupos armados, de policías en motocicletas y con una violencia que solo se ve en las películas más oscuras. Es necesario agregar una historia aún más terrible. Entre los presos políticos de estos días, hay muchos que todavía se desconoce su paradero, ni siquiera se sabe algo por sus abogados defensores, los cuales no han podidos reunirse con ellos. Muchos de ellos parecen estar encerrados en el infame centro de tortura "El Helicoide" o en "La Tumba", edificios que inicialmente fueron construidos para otros fines cívicos. Periodistas venezolanos y extranjeros fueron detenidos durante su trabajo en Venezuela. Sabemos que 2 periodistas chilenos fueron secuestrados en Caracas hoy mismo.
Nuestros analistas indican que este aumento de la violencia y la continua violación de los derechos humanos son todos signos del debilitamiento de la dictadura. Parece que Maduro está empezando a preocuparse.
Todos estamos atentos a las reacciones de los países extranjeros. Este es precisamente el objetivo de esta campaña de peticiones, sensibilizar a la opinión pública extranjera e intentar crear esa masa críticas necesaria para que Internet explote con protestas contra la dictadura de Maduro.
El contexto actual es realmente diferente al de hace unos años, durante la época de Juan Gerardo Antonio Guaidó. Hoy, la situación internacional está patas arriba. Estados Unidos está en medio de una increíble campaña electoral donde el Partido Demócrata, que lidera la nación, ha descubierto su debilidad y debe demostrar que merece un segundo mandato con Kamala Harris. Estados Unidos ya está involucrado en muchos conflictos extranjeros importantes. Irán está abiertamente furioso y listo para una guerra total con Israel. Sin embargo, ningún analista es capaz de indicar con certeza la evolución de la situación en Venezuela. Existen muchas variables, los intereses claros de los aliados de Maduro, Rusia y China; el eje del cartel de la droga que bloquea a los presidentes de México y Colombia; Lula parece haberse despertado ayer; realmente no tiene un contexto claro de la situación. Luego viene el ingrediente que ha estado faltando durante mucho tiempo. Hay mujeres de hierro en Venezuela que despiertan en todos nosotros espíritus libres, esos que han estado dormidos por las prisas de la sociedad “moderna”. Impulsos que nos hacen a todos más jóvenes. Los espíritus revolucionarios imposibles de domar ya nos han embargado. En estos días, todos estamos enamorados de estas mujeres de Venezuela. ¿Cómo no apoyar esos sentimientos tan genuinos? Ni siquiera nos interesa entender los detalles de la ideología, si es de derecha o de izquierda. Desde dentro, sabemos que esas palabras acertadas son sin duda algo mejor que Maduro.
Hoy, todos los analistas coinciden en que la situación actual es más favorable a un cambio que a la continuidad de la dictadura.
Así que, hermanos de Venezuela, sigan teniendo fe y sigan insistiendo. Porque mañana, quizás, todos juntos, unidos, quizás amanezcan en una nueva Venezuela, una Venezuela libre.
La nueva Venezuela jamás vista en los últimos 30 años que todos ustedes estaban esperando.
