Many thanks to all the supporters of this petition. The latest update as many of you may know is we have now held two successful and peaceful protests. Whilst Panuku have agreed to some of our requests we see these as minor changes and are prepared to keep going. These include opening the slip lane to Henderson Valley Road and removal of Railside Avenue bus only lane and shared path. This is not good enough as the major congestion is in part due to only single lane traffic on Great North Road. Behind the scenes a small group of individuals are working together and conducting meetings and media interviews to ensure our voices are heard.
