Even Keel Exotics has caused many issues among exotic pet owners, myself included. There had previously been a petition opened to have him shut down but it did not reach enough signatures, but something needs to be done. The USDA actually has copies of all records against Zachary Keeler and incidents where the housing and care taking of animals was poor, and even ended in death. I personally bought a hedgehog from him and two days later had to take it to the emergency vet, I found out it had an URI, pinkeye, and I believe even mites. Zachary Keeler needs to lose the right to sell these animals, he sees them as a way to get money and nothing more.
