Pensby High School: Wirral Council Must Act

A ‘Formal Process’ was initiated by Elizabeth Hartley - Director for Children, Families and Education on 12th July 2024.

Very serious allegations have been raised with the council about Pensby High School and its governance including:

~Bullying from ‘the top’, a toxic leadership culture, children and teachers both affected

~Safeguarding failures

~Deliberate neglect of children with special educational needs (SEND)

~Postcode discrimination

~Financial mismanagement

~Immoral and unsafe behaviour by the Senior Leadership Team - amongst other things.

Yet despite these grave concerns, nothing has changed. Concerned families and community members have received no updates, no accountability, and no action.

In fact, more families and teachers are now coming forward, speaking out about how both they and the children have been mistreated. Still, the Council remains silent.

We are entitled to transparency, safeguarding, and answers. Our children deserve better and the public deserves to know the truth.
