Thank you to everyone who has signed and supported our petition for safer streets in Leonay. Council has been keeping in contact with us and we’d like to provide you with an update. Currently council’s officers are collecting traffic and pedestrian data to inform any future changes and have also advised that consideration will be given to providing a footpath link between River Road and Leonay Parade. Council’s officers are also currently reviewing options which will require detailed surveying and civil design. This will take approximately 5-6 weeks and council will again write to us keeping us informed of the outcome.
