There should be more Peer Support Workers talking and mediating for patients IN the Hospital. Nurses are helpful but for some Mental Health issues they don’t have the LIVED EXPERIENCE to empathize or comfort or help in a much needed way. I think this would help Inpatients Well Being, Help a lot of Misunderstandings and be good for everyone involved.
