Bullfights in Spain have come off as culture for a very long time, covering up their heartlessness and cruelty.

Humanity is called "human"ity because this feeling, of humanity and compassion and love for all living creatures, is supposedly most prominent in the human race. Then why do we, the humans, keep trying to prove ourselves wrong? As humans, we must take it as our responsibilty that every the creature is treated with respect.

The cruelty that ensues in the name of culture is heartbreaking. Innumerable bulls are slaughtered every year for the purpose of entertainment and to make sure that people don't forget their "culture".

This cruelty must stop, and it is up to us to stop it. By signing this petition, you are ensuring that the lives of hundreds of bulls will be protected, and by signing this petition, you are proving that the feeling of humanity has been correctly called so.
