Hello! We realize it's been awhile since we updated everyone, but today, we're asking that if you live in Point Loma, to please consider voting for one of our leaders, Howard Haimsohn, for the Peninsula Community Planning Board so Kellogg Beach will have a strong advocate on its Board.
The Peninsula Community Planning Board (PCPB) will have their annual elections on March 19 from 4pm – 8pm. Elections are held in person at the Point Loma/Hervey Branch Library at 3701 Voltaire, and be sure to bring your I.D. to show you’re a resident in order to participate in the voting.
We urge all to take the time to cast your vote in this election if you live in Point Loma. And, we urge you to consider voting for Howard Haimsohn as one of 5 votes that you can cast.
Howard Haimsohn is a Point Loma native and a strong advocate for the preservation of the community that we all enjoy. Howard has worked diligently on the Save Kellogg Beach committee, to help make sure that community concerns for the preservation of Kellogg Beach’s environment and character remain something that we will enjoy for many years to come.
Howard Haimsohn is also concerned about over-development throughout Point Loma, increased traffic, preserving the historic and eclectic character of Point Loma, and balancing the needs of a growing community with the desires of those of us who already call Point Loma our home.
Howard has 30+ years of service on non-profit boards and is a member of the PLA (Point Loma Association) and the La Playa Yacht Club. Howard is willing to listen to diverse views and concerns, with the desire to help the PCPB make good decisions for the future of Point Loma.
If you'd like to check if you live in the PCPB area, please visit their website for the boundary map: http://pcpb.net/boundaries.pdf
We hope to see you there, and thank you for your continued support!
