Stray animals, often abandoned or left to roam, face numerous challenges such as hunger, exposure, and health risks. Addressing this issue requires a collective commitment to adoption, spaying/neutering, and community programs to ensure these animals find caring homes and live dignified lives. 

The primary objective of the project is to garner support and raise awareness through an online petition on Change.org. The petition will call for the implementation of comprehensive stray animal welfare programs in General Santos City. The proposed initiatives include:

• Increased Funding for Animal Shelters: Advocate for increased funding to establish and maintain well-equipped animal shelters that provide humane care and rehabilitation for stray animals.
• Community Education Programs: Propose educational campaigns to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying/neutering, and the consequences of abandoning pets.
• Collaboration with Veterinary Services: Encourage collaboration with local veterinary services to conduct spaying/neutering campaigns, vaccination drives, and health checks for stray animals.
• Establishment of a Helpline: Advocate for the creation of a dedicated helpline for reporting stray animal sightings, emergencies, and cases of animal cruelty.
