The citizens of Victorville and Adelanto are in desperate need of a Traffic light at Mojave Dr & Amethyst Rd, in Victorville, CA. We have tried several times to make our plea to the City, and City Engineers with no outcome, and no resolve. I contacted the Engineer once more today today February 21,2017 at 12:50pm and I was told that they could try to raise the funds but it would take a long time before we see any outcome due to it being a major job.

Just this month alone 4 lives have been lost at this very dangerous intersection. Most recently two children Pedro Basua Jr (13) & Teresa Basua (10) on February 18 ,and on February 4th Angel Barranco and his unborn child. These were both tragic incidents and our hearts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to the families who are suffering at this time.

Our hope is that in starting this petition it will reach Congressman Cooks office and expedite this process as it is a major safety concern to the residence of this area and surrounding.
