City ordinances banning livestock, swine and other farm animals, were put in place before domesticated MINI PIGS were introduced to the United States in the 1980’s. Since then, many breeds of these intelligent, clean, sociable animals have been raised by loving families throughout the U.S.  Approximately 50% of California cities already allow for MINI PIGS. Help us get the Torrance City Council to recognize these domesticated pets as such, and therefore not banned as “swine” or “farm animals”.
