Mike Griffiths is a distinguished public figure with a diverse background in sports, technology, and local government. He first gained recognition as a Welsh rugby union player and British Lion, making 73 appearances for Pontypridd RFC between 1997 and 2003. After retiring from professional sports, he transitioned into coaching, currently leading Ystrad Rhondda RFC in the Welsh Rugby Union Division 2 East. Academically, Griffiths holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University. He is also the Owner and Founder of MIKON Computer Systems. In public service, Griffiths has served as a Council Member and Mayor Pro Tem in Torrance City, as well as a Planning Commissioner, highlighting his commitment to community development and governance.
