Onision is a youtuber who has abused his influence throughout the years and most recently groomed a teenage fan with the help of his spouse, Kai. 

Grooming is a process in which a perpetrator gradually befriends and gains a person's trust with an intent to be sexually abusive. Perpetrators are usually figures in power while victims are often vulnerable and thus creating a power imbalance. 

Patreon is a crowdfunding platform which hosts Onision and Kai. The platform allows them to private message fans - including an option of $1,000 to meet him in person.

Sarah had been a fan of Onision's since the age of 12 years old. Kai noticed Sarah on twitter and began speaking to her when she was 14 years old. Despite being 5 years and 10 months apart, the two would publicly make sexually suggestive comments towards each on twitter which drew public concern before they physically met shortly after Sarah turned 16. Once Sarah turned 18, both Kai and Onision engaged in sexual acts with Sarah and have shamed her for defending them in the past.

We are asking for Patreon to take action, or at the very least, offer a response as to why they continue to allow these predators to be on their platform despite breaking their policy guidelines. The youtube community has been left without any answers for too long as these two proven predators continue to thrive. Notable journalist, Chris Hansen, has also been covering this story and also has failed to receive any responses from YouTube.

In the past, Patreon have deplatformed a creator named Sargon for violating their guidelines on hate speech. This created controversy as it was seen as a subjective issue (link below), but what's going on with Onision is very real, yet they are giving him a pass and allowing him to thrive on their platform.
