We the Hindu community who last name is “Patel”, are asking “Patel Brothers”, the Indian grocery chain store;  to:

1. STOP selling flesh foods/frozen meat/seafood/eggs in all your stores.

By you doing so; it taints the overall community who hold the last name of “Patel”; as well as the overall Gujarati Hindu sentiment towards.  As the overall Gujarati community around USA does not partake in flesh foods.  

2.  We are seeking that you STOP using, the name “Patel” from your business name, if you continue to sell as above.

Even more, we request you to STOP selling flesh foods/frozen meats/seafood/eggs.  And re-gain the community trust, that our Gujarati background owners of Patel Brothers; understand  our cultural/religious beliefs in non-violence is a MUST for Moksha.  This is why we have many temples in Chicagoland and overall USA, to support this vegetarian lifestyle needed towards spirituality. 

Even in Srimad Bhagavatam it clearly says the butcher, seller, transporter, and consumer are all sinners. So please,  request current owners of Patel Brothers to consider this and change your business model to uplift Hindu Existence for years to come.  

Requesting all  Hindu and especially Patel Hindus to join in this petition; we cannot let this continue of Patel Brothers.  We are doing this so, our names are not tainted;  patel brothers founders would never would have allowed.
