The Issue

The system is no longer working for the people; it’s working for the politicians. For too long, we have watched Congress fail at its most basic responsibilities. They cannot balance a budget, they cannot stop the skyrocketing national debt, and they seem more focused on their next re-election than the future of this country. While the average American family struggles with inflation and stagnant wages, many in Congress are amassing personal fortunes through suspiciously timed stock trades and "insider" access that would land any other citizen in jail.

We are done with career politicians. We are done with "leaders" who play by a different set of rules.

This petition calls for the passage of the 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. This isn't just a set of minor tweaks—it is a total overhaul of Congressional accountability. By signing this, you are demanding four common-sense pillars of reform:

Age Limits (Max 62): To ensure our leaders are invested in the long-term results of their policies, not just their own legacy.
Strict Term Limits: 3 terms for the House (6 years) and 2 terms for the Senate (12 years). Serving in Congress should be a temporary service, not a lifelong career.
Median Income Pay: If the people in a district or state are hurting economically, their representatives should feel it too. Congressional pay must be tied directly to the median household income of the people they represent.
No More Insider Trading: Total ban on active stock trading for members and their immediate families. If you want to hold public office, you must divest or use a blind trust. No more getting rich off "classified" info.
Congress has proven they will never vote to limit their own power or pay. That is why we are taking this fight directly to the states and the people. We need to send a message that "business as usual" is over.

Sign today to demand a government that finally puts the people first.

Why this matters:

Let’s be honest: Congress is broken. While the national debt skyrockets and the average American struggles to keep up with inflation, the people we elect to represent us are getting rich. They play by a different set of rules, trading stocks based on information we don't have and staying in power for forty years while they fail to even pass a basic budget.

It is time to return to the "Citizen Legislator" model our founders intended. We are proposing a 28th Amendment to the Constitution to force accountability back into the halls of power.

Our Demands:

Age Limits: No one over 62 in the House or Senate. We need leaders invested in the future, not just the next election.

Term Limits: 6 years for the House (3 terms) and 12 years for the Senate (2 terms). No more career politicians.

Median Pay: Tie Congressional salaries directly to the median income of their district or state. If the people they represent are hurting, they should feel it too.

A Real Trading Ban: No active stock trading for members or their families. Period. No more using a public office for private gain.

Congress has proven they won't fix themselves. It is time for the American people to demand a new set of rules. Sign this petition to demand your State Legislators and U.S. Representatives support the 28th Amendment.
