My 16-year-old son, Henry D. Teuteberg, was tragically killed in a preventable act of gun violence on April 16, 2021. He was loving, kind, and full of life—a boy who brought joy to everyone around him. Henry deserved to grow up. He deserved safety.

But Wisconsin still does not have a Red Flag Law—also known as an Extreme Risk Protection Order law. These laws allow family members or law enforcement to temporarily remove firearms from individuals who pose a serious risk to themselves or others. If Wisconsin had one, my son would still be here today.

I started this petition because I refuse to let Henry’s story end in silence. We must act now to protect other families from facing the unimaginable. I need your voice to amplify this message. Please sign and share this petition widely.
