Losing a child is an agony like no other. No family should have to experience the pain that mine is suffering due to a senseless act of gun violence. After Henry was killed, I had no choice but to turn my pain into purpose. The day I became an advocate for my son in getting a Red Flag Law/Extreme Risk Protection Order passed here in the state of Wisconsin, I promised to do whatever it takes to keep others safe and to work towards a future in which innocent people feel safe and are free from gun violence. I am proud of the progress I have made so far, but I’m far from where I need to be. I need more people like you to help make a difference in saving innocent lives and give Henry the Justice he solely deserves. I won’t stop until I see a better, safer future for all of us.
