Australia’s new space agency has announced the signing of two agreements with counterpart agencies in Canada and the United Kingdom, showcasing the beginning of CANZUK space and defence collaboration.
The Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the Australian Space Agency, the Canadian Space Agency, and the United Kingdom Space Agency, with the three-way deal expected to help the nations develop their respective space programs and take advantage of the global space and defence industry.

In addition, the UK’s Secretary of State for International Trade, Dr. Liam Fox MP, has publicly declared that the UK and Canada have a significant opportunity to build a unique trading partnership after Brexit.
Fox stated that the two countries' close bonds, shared vales and unprecedented governmental co-operation will create a seamless transition to a bilateral trading agreement after the U.K. exits the European Union.
