Every life matter,a life may be a domestic animal, wild animal, human or a plant. But this petition is about animal cruelty in Sri Lanka, which increases day by day.We see psychopaths hurt these  animals ,video them, take photos of them while or after hurting them for no reason. The Sri Lankan government  doesn't  have a strong law against animal cruelty .So let's join together and sign this petition to these innocent animals who dont have a voice or a religion .A single signature will bring a big change. Let's send the love for these animal to the parliament or to the president to bring a strong law against animal cruelty. 

සෑම ජීවයක් වටිනවා, ජීවිතයක් ,ගෘහස්ථ සතෙකු, හෝ වන සතෙකු හෝ මිනිසෙකු හෝ ශාකයක් විය හැකිය. නමුත් මෙම පෙත්සම ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සත්ව හිංසාව පිළිබඳව වන අතර එය දිනෙන් දින වැඩි වේ. මනෝ ව්‍යාධීන් මෙම සතුන්ට රිදවීම, වීඩියෝ කිරීම, ඡායාරූප ගැනීම හෝ කිසිදු හේතුවක් නොමැතිව ඔවුන්ට රිදවීම දිනෙන් දින වැඩි වේ. සත්ව හිංසාවට එරෙහිව ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජයට ප්‍රබල නීතියක් නොමැත..ඉතින් අපි එක් වී හ කටහඩක්  හෝ ආගමක් නොමැති මෙම අහිංසක සතුන්ට මෙම පෙත්සමට අත්සන් කරමු. තනි අත්සනක් විශාල වෙනසක් ගෙන එනු ඇත.සත්ව හිංසනයට එරෙහිව ශක්තිමත් නීතියක් ගෙන ඒම සඳහා මෙම සත්වයන් කෙරෙහි ඇති ආදරය පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට හෝ ජනාධිපතිවරයා වෙත යවමු.

Why did I make this petition ? very recently I made a social media account (fb) and I saw there were many animal groups.since I love animals I joined them.then after each week I would see at least one animal cruelty video or a photo which would bring my heart to burn with frustration and sadness .i felt their pain and I felt my eyes get blurry .i also saw how other animal lovers search for justice for these animals.But since that justice we are searching equals to nothing.I thought of this petition and I'm creating one.i don't know this will make a big change, but I'm sure it will make at least one animal free from cruelty  of these humans.lets make Sri Lanka to realize power of animal care. 

Animal cruelty is also call animal abuse or animal neglect.This include, 

• Beating
• Neglecting 
• Organized abuse
• Sexual abuse
• Hoarding 
• Throwing 
• Stabbing
• Burning alive (I recently saw one video of burning a kitten alive)
• Poisoning 
• Killing and many more.

To prevent animal cruelty let's raise our voice.And remember a person who can watch an animal suffer can do same for a human. සත්ව හිංසාව වැළැක්වීම සඳහා අපි හ හඬ නඟමු. සතෙකු දුක් විඳීම නැරඹිය හැකි පුද්ගලයෙකුට මිනිසෙකුටද එය කළ හැකි බව මතක තබා ගන්න.

How to prevent animal cruelty,

• First of all primary education by parents & school 
• Responsible pet lovers
• Donate or support animal holdings 
• Demand strict law against animal cruelty 
• Intervene if you withness animal cruelty 
• Shelter a animal in need 
• Be an example as animal lover
• Report animal cruelty (which we don't have a center to report) 
• Think all animals are the same
• Don't support animal cruelty
