More and more people are buying High rise properties, not because they want to, but because of affordability, security etc etc...

But, does that mean we need to bear with the lack of peace and quiet? Or even bear with the smell that is caused by inconsiderate neighbours. Bear in mind that unwanted noise and smell can NOT be ignored by anyone. It's not like you saw something, and are able to avert your eyes. These senses, forced unto an individual over the course of days, weeks and months, can literally drive someone up the wall. 

In Malaysia, we have such individuals who use religion as a way of harassing other people. But I just want to stress something, religion should NOT be a reason for making other people suffer. We have and SHOULD have more awareness of stress and mental illness. If one practice whatever they want, it should be behind closed doors. Authorities in Malaysia should include noise and smell as an infringement of civil rights, and individual rights to enjoy peace and quiet in their own property/ dwelling. 

The measurement is truly simple, and no need for extra costs. Whatever noise, made, and can be heard outside of a person's house, is already considered nuisance. It already exceeds the nuisance-maker property, and have started to infringe on common property and other residents. Same goes to smell. A once in a blue moon petai dish, isn't going to cause any trouble, but every day? too much. Same goes for incense burning, please do it in your house behind close door. 

As I'm not the only one who sees these going on around them, with no enforcement and a 'tak boleh buat apa-apa' by our local authorities. I propose this to be drafted as a bill and deliberated in Parliament. The objective is simple, we have to deal with so much every day, why should we not have peace and quiet?
