We're still going on E. 59th Street - and we need your help

Hi. A group of us are still working to re-open the lot on E. 59th Street near 2nd Ave. In the meantime, we've learned about another vacant lot nearby, on 59th and First. Always wondered about that space. The city has said they need that space fenced-off to do water main maintenance, but it turns out they are several identical sites downtown they have re-opened. I just posted a video about this on our Instagram.

Community Board 8 does not seem interested in this issue, so we are looking for folks who would be willing to come testify (you could do it over video) at a Community Board meeting about this. Please reach out to me at seaninnigeria (at) gmail.com if you'd be willing. Thanks!
