Ice Cream Social this Sunday at 3 pm to extend Honey Locust Park on East 59th Street!

Hello! Thanks for signing and supporting this petition -- even those who have forgotten that you signed!

Our campaign took a pause for several months, but we are now back at it, with renewed energy and hope! Those in the neighborhood have seen the recent changes to East 59th Street, making the need for public space here even greater. Also, New York will (almost definitely) soon have a new Mayor and new DOT Commissioner.

To rekindle the campaign, we are hosting an Ice Cream Social this Sunday, September 28th at 3pm on 59th Street between 1st and 2nd. Trader Joes has agreed to sponsor the event! We hope you can come say hi and discuss ways to advance this effort together as neighbors. We are looking for people who can get involved. But even if you just want some ice cream, come on by -- all are welcome.

We also have a new Instagram account (@parknotdump) so please follow us there.
