Every morning, a group of about ten to fifteen students and I meet in the library at Treasure Mountain Junior High. We are known as the "Breakfast Club" by our librarian and teachers and we love our library. So, when we heard that our high school's library was going to be completely taken over by a program called PCCAPS next fall, we were heartbroken...and angry. Even before our first day of sophomore year, the school board made the decision to give the library's space to this program and send the books away. We are going against this because, to us, the library is more than just a place to read. It's a place of knowledge, caring, and community. If we succeed with this petition, there will be shared space between PCCAPS and a library. This means that the program will still have somewhere to go, but also that we will still have somewhere to go. A shared space would be a win for all students.  ALL students deserve a school library where they can have a place to be, learn to research and have access to reading materials.  Please support our cause and our education by signing this petition.
