The AIA Medical Advisory and COVID-19 Crisis Committees have established guidelines for returning to play safely. Surrounding districts have determined that it’s safe to practice and are moving forward with all fall athletic seasons.

Our kids and coaches have followed every guideline to a tee. They have masked up and are following protocols. These kids deserve and have earned the opportunity  to play. To allow them to do phase 1,2,and 3 to only kill the seasons is wrong and disingenuous.

Please consider speaking with the leaders from neighboring  districts to come up with a plan that will give the student athletes from the PVUSD the same opportunity.

We know what we’re signing up for. The cause is worth the risk! Let us decide what is right or wrong for our kids. Don’t take this away from them! They’ve worked extremely hard and sacrificed so much over the last several months!
