Panasonic has recently announced the details of the upcoming firmware update bringing in more features as well as fixing quite a few issues. You can find details here: http://www.panasonic.com/global/consumer/lumix/gh5_firmware.html There is no higher bit rate IPB options for normal modes, but there are 200 Mbps ones for anamorphic mode. Let's wait a bit and see how much that improves image quality compared to 150 Mbps IPB.
