Remaining 2 dogs have been adopted!

Thank you, ALL, for your prayers and support! The remaining two "behavioral" dogs have been adopted! Scout and Hanohano have been adopted by a kennel business owner up the road from the Humane Society. This kennel business owner had gone to HHS to evaluate the dogs and was confident that he could rehabilitate them to become more adoptable. I went to visit them last week and saw that they are both way more relaxed and attentive! When at the shelter, the two dogs were not relaxed enough to enjoy the company of people. And although the kennel owner recognizes that it will take time to rehabilitate them, both Scout and Hanohano have already demonstrated much improvement. In my humble opinion, the dogs could have achieved a more relaxed state if they were just taken out of the shelter and brought into a loving home. Even though they have not been brought into a forever home, the kennel owner has saved their lives from euthanasia and they have a better outlook for a more promising tomorrow. They show a lot of affection for their new owner and his veterinarian has even examined them! Supposedly, HHS had said that their veterinary staff could never exam these dogs. Go figure! Again, thank you, ALL, for your support and prayers! Because of you all, Scout and Hanohano have a warm place to lay their heads and have a lot of quality, loving attention in their new home. God bless!
