This intersection has been the scene of near misses, accidents and sadly a death recently. 

It is a high traffic area with through traffic, a rail crossing and trucks - all in a 100 km zone.

Something urgently needs to be done to make this section of road safer for all.

Lowering the speed limit will help initially but long term turning bays or a roundabout are essential
