Hi all, I just wanted to reach out to let you know we’ve just passed 1,284 signatures on our petition! Thank you so much for your support! Will you help us to get more support by attending this evening's LCAP Parent Meeting? This Parent Meeting will be discussing whether to continue to use student funding to maintain the budget ($689, 269) for four SROs. For months we, along with the African-American Parent Advisory Committee, have been bringing student and community support for removing police from our schools to district officials' attention. Tonight's participation from community members, parents, administration, and students will hopefully move all of our efforts in the direction that best serves our students. We hope to see and hear you tonight!
