Justice for Zohra: end child labour

Justice for Zohra: end child labour
The Issue
When Zohra Shah’s parents sent her to work for a wealthy family, they were assured that their daughter would be provided with the education they could not afford her. Instead, Zohra was beaten, abused and ultimately killed simply for freeing some parrots from their cage.
She was only eight years old.
Child labour exists, and it is killing little girls every day. They subjected to forced domestic work, poor living conditions without proper food or pay and often go through traumatic experiences like physical, sexual and verbal abuse. The actual number of child labourers is unknown, however, researchers estimate that the figure is over 2 million.
Before Zohra there was Tayyaba. And before Tayyaba there was Uzma. And before Uzma there was Humaira and countless others. The Pakistani government has let child labour go on for far too long. We need new laws to protect girls and children.
Please sign this petition and share it as widely as you can. Help us make them listen. Help us give girls like Zohra the chance you and I have taken for granted
