Time line of events:

1) Feb 2013 - The property management company for Mission Gardens contacted the city with the problem. Was given a timeline of 4 months. Now 8 months have passed and nothing was done.

2) Sept 2013 - One of our residents went to the Police HQ to enquire about painting the cub himself due to inaction from the city department, but was advised against it since its illegal to do so on city property.

3) Sep 2013 - Petition started by the residents

Currently the portion of the Hope drive at the corner of St.Palais Pl in Santa Clara do not have any red color for "no parking". Everyday more than 150 cars come out of the Mission Gardens community to go to work or drop of children in School. Since the right side of the curb is not painted red, there is a blind spot with many cars parked on the street. Residents have to maneuver carefully before entering Hope drive with ongoing traffic. If we don't paint the curb red, there is a potential of real fatal accidents about to happen. We the residents of Mission Gardens request the Street department to take corrective action immediately.
