The issue

After seeing the horrific treatment and abuse of 27 horses, mostly so called Rescued Racehorses, and what they have endured over the past 16 years! I knew it needed to be stopped!!

After trying to help get them better conditions and basic care, while I briefly worked there recently.i knew nothing would change.

All horses are ridden twice a day in extreme heat and humidity of Tropical Far North Queensland, during the hottest part of the day and all horses are in their late teens to late 20s with the oldest being 28 and still worked

They then have to endure the extremes of wet season for 3 months working in torrential rain, mud and even cyclones.

No horse is given proper nutrition or vet care or even the simplest luxury of being brushed before ridden.

Hoof Abcess, eye injuries and conjunctivitis, rain scald, girth and saddle sores, and lameness are all daily sufferings to these horses.

The rides are designed for the tourists who are beginners and inexperienced. Many of those have never even seen a horse before so it is easier to hide the true condition of the horses and their welfare issues.

So please help me get the change they deserve.
