Signing petitions sends a message, it has done for thousands of years right back to the Forum in Rome before the Roman empire became a dictatorship.  We live in a democracy, with democratic values and institutions, An bord Pleanala is one of those institutions.  Mayo council got a message from ABP saying the velorail needs planning permission; we are now sending a message saying we want a greenway to run alongside the velorail.  You have made the effort to send the message, now get others please to do the same, Share the petition, tweet the petition, email the petition.
