B & G CLUB MEETING - PARENT AGENDA - 8/2/22
In preparation for our meeting tomorrow night, (8/2) it seems that the parents of B & G club are not being taken seriously. The B&G produced agenda several days ago, that was sent out with zero parent input.
In their agenda email, they did include a link buried at the bottom, asking for input, but it is unknown if any items submitted will actually be included in their formal agenda and/or discussion. We also have no way of knowing what questions/items parents may have submitted.
Here is what PARENTS are asking for at tomorrow night’s meeting:
1. We need a FORMAL acknowledgment from B&G club that a parent’s advisory committee will be formally established.
§ Action Item: Yes, and which parents will be asked to form this committee.
2. Meetings will have an agenda and all documents for distribution agreed upon, with parental input, 5 business days in advance of meeting, so that parents can review. No last minute documents.
· Action item: Yes, and who manages?
3. Parent/Community meetings will be calendared one year in advance so parents can plan to attend.
· Action item: Yes, and who manages the dates with parents?
4. Meetings have a scribe, so minutes can be prepared and distributed 5 business days after meeting.
· Action item: Yes, and who manages and distributes minutes?
5. Parent Advisory Meetings will have action items agreed to for every agenda item with a B&G manager, who owns the items. This should be clearly spelled out in minutes.
6. 2022-23 Budget depends on several key items, the B&G authorities have not yet clarified. Four months are already GONE.
Failure to execute these fundraising goals means OUR clubs fail.
PLEASE UPDATE:
1. Bingo (20% of revenue) : when does it start, who manages. We need details.
2. Spaghetti feed, overseen by Mike Oneill? When, where?
3. On-site crabfeed. When, who manages.?
4. Foundations: Donations approx $110K. which ones, status?
5. B & G club Board donations - which members have donated?
6. Government donations? Status
7. What are the names of our fundraisers and their professional backgrounds?
8. Who is on B&G Board? Per Bruce Wright, as of July 1st, all members have now been appointed.
9. What the status of the parent portal?
10. Pacifica-ONLY FINANCIALS. The Fiscal year ended June 30th. Let’s stop the fiction that financials are not available, they are being kept secret.

10. 2022-23 The draft budget was passed out June 13th, but not Board approved. Where is the Board approved 2022-23 budget?
