Dear Supporter,
Please read my thoughts on a recent negative response of Captain Amrinder Singh following the first strategic meeting between India and Pakistan on March 14th, to discuss the Kartarpur Sahib logistics.
I am attaching the Tribune article for your perusal.

Really? Captain Sahib please get a grip.
You are posing unreasonable demands on the number of visitors Pakistan must receive each day in the name of "khulley darshan deedaar" and that is totally unjustified for many reasons.
1. A higher footfall than the one of 500 visitors per day proposed by Pakistan will cause severe ecological and heritage destruction consequences.
Kartarpur's heritage are not only the Gurdwara complex but more importantly the fields of Baba Nanak that he tilled with his own hands for over 18 years and the forests that he nurtured and meditated in. Sikhs world over are fighting hard for these to be preserved by the Pakistan's government so they are not buried under concrete structures designed to support a high volume of visitors.
Pakistan is already working on accommodating larger number of visitors in the upcoming phases, please do not impose immediate and undue pressure that will cause irreversible heritage destruction without due planning in place.
2. How justified is that you propose of a visa-free, passport-free access be granted starting right away to thousands of Indian citizens per day into Pakistan without a promise of the same gesture in return to Pakistani citizens in the future? Would you be willing to fight for their cause of visiting for ex. Ajmer Sharif in return of this demand?
We want the Sikhs world over to visit Kartarpur Sahib and other separated Gurdwaras in Pakistan but not at the cost of heritage destruction. Wish your approach to Pakistan's kind gestures is more reasonable, friendly and incorporates the ecological and heritage preservation aspects.
