It is oh so encouraging to see so many people signing this petition. The population of Ozark is just over 10,000 Lets get at least that many if not more.

The elected city leaders for whatever reasons, do not seem to understand that you need more than housing to create a viable community. You need industry and manufacturing.

You also need to embrace the history. This area once flourished and was self sustaining. The community produced its own food and pretty much everything else it needed.

The precious land they want to turn into housing could be used as educational and Eco-tourism, host cultural events and more and preserve the environment while doing it.
