Stop Ozark AnnexMO, United States
May 29, 2020

The final annexation vote is on Monday June 1st at 7pm CST at the OC in Ozark. It will be live streamed but if you can be there, do show up. It may be standing room only, so wear your PPC if you want.

In their plaque, they do mention some of the history of the area, including those of the Native Americans, such as the Osage and Delaware Tribes. I don't see anything about the lead and zinc mines. I think people considering moving to this area should know that history.

The great thing about email and voicemail is that they do exist. At the local level we can tell them we dont want this to happen to this beautiful property,

At the state and federal level we ask if they can intervene to protect it.

I know everyone is passionate about these things, but do remain calm. We simply state we want this land and all that is in it to be preserved and protected.
